Research Methods in KSL
This course introduces graduate students to research designs and methods frequently used in KSL (Korean as a Second Language) studies. The course familiarizes students with various kinds of quantitative and qualitative methods as well as how to analyze data and present results. Students will gain hands-on experience by creating instruments/measures for data collection and performing data analysis using SPSS and other tools. In addition, students will be asked to formulate their own research topic, design their research, and write a research proposal.
