Russian Speech Genres
This course aims to explore a variety of Russian oral speech genres. Students elevate their competence through participation in a wide range of speech acts, formal and informal, from a conversation at a book club, to the presentation of a paper at a conference, to a political debate at a roundtable. Students will also read a variety of texts and write a series of papers, concluding with a final paper and a final presentation.
