David Lynch is a "maker", one whose work as a painter, composer, writer/director for television (Twin Peaks) and films (Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway), has positioned him as one of the most unique and important artists of his generation. In this course we will concentrate on his films, but will examine some of his other work, particularly for television. (FMMC 0101 or FMMC 0102 or approval of the instructor).
