Francophone World-Pandemic Era
The Francophone World in the Pandemic Era
The current pandemic, in addition to being a health crisis, has brought into focus social and geographical disparities. Which populations are more privileged, in the sense that they obtain the vaccines quickly? On the other hand, which cultural threads condemn the administration of these (uncertain) remedies? Our survey of official vaccine policy and its “folk interpretation” will reveal the key social and economic factors that (dis-) favor its acceptance. Has the (non)-acceptance of the vaccine created a new social hierarchy.
