Contemporary German Lit
In this class we will focus on recently published German literature. We will study and analyze novels, texts, movies and songs which illustrate the contemporary Zeitgeist and help us to understand the cultural settings of the German society in the 21st century. We will engage with the political discourse on digitalization, belonging, racism and climate change. We will invite authors to discuss their work with us online.
