Applied Stylistics II
The purpose of this course is to reinforce the students’ ability to write clearly and subtly, to give them a thorough knowledge of language structures. The course focuses on the daily practice of exercises about some difficult points of grammar, from texts on different Sources (literary texts, Essays), and some of points of vocabulary (euphemisms, etymology, …).The purpose of this course is to allow students to improve their use of complex linguistic structures, that will allow a more nuanced expression of meaning. Students will need a unilingual dictionary, a course pack with exercises, and another one « Annexe Grammaticale », in which they will find explanations of grammatical and vocabulary topics.
