Persuasive Writing
This course is designed to hone students’ abilities to write at an advanced level in Spanish through a variety of grammatical and rhetorical tools needed for effective persuasion. Students will work on several types of writing (feature articles, reviews, blog entries, etc.) and analyze texts from both formal and informal sources while discussing and exploring current events and issues in Latin America. (1 unit)
