Spanish in Community&Workplace
This Spanish course offers you a space to develop intercultural communicative competence and professional skills at the intermediate high/advanced level. Each week, students will travel to a neighboring community and interact with language learners who are speakers of their target language. Through a sequence of tasks and projects, learners will build community, develop intercultural competence, learning autonomy, oral proficiency, and language confidence. Simultaneously, students will work on language needs for the workplace such as job interviews, resume building, professional emails, digital identity, and networking in Latin America and/or Spain.
