Task-Based Teaching in the French Second Language Classroom
This course aims to introduce students to the principles and techniques of task-based teaching in the French second language classroom. In this course, students will engage with theories and practices involved in constructing coherent, level-appropriate learning and evaluation situations. Topics to be covered include models and characteristics of oral and written comprehension and production; developing and sequencing tasks for reading, writing, listening and interacting; evaluating student performance and providing feedback; integrating task-based teaching into existing curricula.
