Impact Investing for a Sustainable Planet
In this course we will explore the field of impact investing, with specific emphasis on its evolution, company case studies, and current players in the field. We will look at “first movers”, “lost leaders”, and growth companies which sustainably manage natural resources, mitigate climate change, and protect ecosystems. We will focus on practical evaluative tools to undertake effective sourcing, due diligence, monitoring, and exits in building a solid portfolio of impact investments. This course counts as a cognate for ENVS majors with a focus in the natural sciences.
