Enterprise Risk Management
In this workshop, we will develop and implement a structured case studies-based Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for analysing and addressing high level risks that modern internationally trading firms face in today’s operating and strategic environments. ERM is the framework by which an organization assesses, controls, exploits, finances, and monitors risks from all sources with an objective of increasing the organization’s short and long-term value to its stakeholders. As a part of the workshop, we will look at how to systemically approach risk assessment, practically structure ERM programme, compliance and deployment, and show how compliance with best practices in ERM programme development can mitigate key risks to enterprise, ranging from traditional financial and corporate organization risks to more novel risks, such as those relating to human and natural capital.
