It is thrilling to watch a simple pencil sketch spring to life. In this hands-on course we will practice the fundamental principles of classic animation including timing, spacing, ease-in and out, motion arcs, squash and stretch, and overlapping action. We will draw characters that bounce, walk, run, and jump. We will learn visual storytelling techniques. Most importantly we will learn to work as a team, producing and writing a collaborated animated film. This course counts as elective credit towards the FMMC major. (Approval Required)
