Building on the IEMG 8635 Higher Education Administration course, this course will examine the role that higher education systems design, institutional types, and institutional mission has an impact on higher education administration practices of managing institutional relationships with faculty and students. This course investigates how systems and institutional governance structures influence campus business offices, student services, and academic programs.
