Twentieth Century Italian Poetry: Saba, Ungaretti, Montale, Hermeticism and anti-Hermeticism

The course will focus on modern and contemporary Italian poetry from the early twentieth century to the seventies as exemplified by Umberto Saba, Giuseppe Ungaretti, and Eugenio Montale.
