Italian Novel:30's to Present
Italian Novel from the Thirties to the Present
The course will focus on the evolution of the Italian novel from the thirties to the present. Through the texts by Moravia, Pasolini, Sciascia, Saviano and Maraini students will study the changing characteristics of the novel in a society transitioning from modern to post-modern. Students will be able to analyze narrative techniques and formulate personal opinion after having studied the different critical methodologies developed in the last century.
