Methodology Applied to Civilization: History, Political Science and Philosophy.
Mostly relying on modern French history, this course offers an introduction to the methodology for the social and human sciences. It will be structured around a series of exercises, such as summaries of texts, analysis and comments of documents, oral presentations and essays. One of the aims of this course is to prepare students about to go and study in France, but it will also prepare students who are starting a four-summer Master’s program.
