Career Management: BAIS
Career management is an essential skill whether you are just starting your career trajectory or a mid-career professional. Students will have the chance to participate in career self-assessment using Strenthsquest, the MBTI personality inventory, values and interest surveys and other career exploration tools and strategies. We will be discussing building a professional brand image and will review and revise professional documents (resume and cover letter). Other topics can be added as time permits and depending on the interests of the group. A quick survey will be done the first class and the course will be adapted based on the students’ needs. If you have already taken a different Career Management Course you will still find this course relevant as first two sessions of the course are unique and have not been offered previously at MIIS.
