Staff Managmnt in Intl Context
This course provides an overview of the operational and strategic considerations and issues of staff management in an international organization. The course is oriented from the practitioner’s perspective with relevant case studies. Students will examine the complexities of staff management in international and multinational contexts. The course has a practical focus and will include discussion of job description development, advertisement, selection processes, salary setting and negotiation, coaching, discipline, labor laws and workers’ rights, and managing remote teams.
