Senior Seminar in Music
In this course for senior music majors we will offer an in-depth study of music, integrating the perspectives of the performer, composer, and scholar. Students will apply skills developed in the core theory, history, and ethnomusicology courses, as well as keyboard and compositional skills, to a variety of music topics spanning a broad range of chronological periods, geographic areas, and style and genre classifications. All music majors are required to take this course in the fall of their senior year. 3 hrs. lect/disc.
