Introduction to Spanish Linguistics
The aim of this course is to give the students the general foundations of Spanish Linguistics in order to prepare her/him for future courses oriented to specific grammar topics. In order to achieve this goal, in this course we will review fundamental concepts necessary to understand how a language is structured and works. We also will study the origins of Spanish and the main features of today´s Spanish. This course will combine explanations and readings with exercises oriented to practice the theory and to assure its acquisition. (1 Unit)
