Watching Italy Watching TV
This course will focus on the complex history of Italian TV broadcasting, analyzing the changing patterns in TV spectatorship over the past 50 years. Through a cultural studies approach, we will discuss the many facets of public and private broadcasting, in synchronic and diachronic fashion. During the course, students will also be able to watch some of the most representative programs in the history of Italian television.
