Entrepreneurial Finance
This workshop/course provides a practical introduction and development of analysis and decision choices involving the planning and uses of financing for entrepreneurial enterprises. It begins with bootstrapping and enterprise life cycle analysis for financial needs, examines the legal context in which entrepreneurships can be structured, the planning and negotiation of financial deals and arrangements from angel investors and venture capitalists as well as exit strategies/IPOs and other markets for entrepreneurship finance. The course involves practical in-class discussion of entrepreneurship topics and decisions as well as a discussion of several cases involving financing situations.
