Advanced Beginning Hebrew
This course is designed for students with some past experience and functional ability at the proficiency level of Novice-Mid/high. In this class students will be able to rapidly build control of the fundamentals of Hebrew grammar, to build vocabulary, to develop reading, oral and written skills, and to learn about modern Israeli culture. They will be able to initiate and sustain conversation with familiar topics. They will be able to write short narratives and read authentic texts based on specific reading strategies. Students completing this level usually achieve Intermediate levels in all four skills.
