Teaching Practicum
This course is designed for students who have successfully completed the Introduction to Japanese Pedagogy course. Students internalize the theories throughout teaching practicum over 4 weeks. The instructional coaching model provides opportunity to design lessons, practice classroom instructional delivery, and finally reflect on the experiences. Students work in cohorts throughout the course. Required textbook: Enacting the Work of Language Instruction: High Leverage Teaching Practice.
