This course is an introduction to web analytics and measurement strategies for today’s online marketing activities. Students will walk away with a foundational understanding of the various mediums and channels for online marketing activities, an understanding of the data that can be collected, the ability to identify relevant business objectives, and the ability to analyze campaign performance. Additionally, students will be exposed to the process of finding actionable insights and measuring the impact of those actions.
The course will be conducted using both lecture and small group work, and the Google Analytics platform will be used throughout the course. Active student participation is both encouraged and required.
