Language Educator as a Leader: Issues in SLA Research
The course focuses on research types used in the field of second language acquisition (SLA). It will present the various methodologies and designs used in research dealing with the acquisition and teaching of a second or foreign language. In this course we shall learn about the types of data that can be studied in SLA research, as well as the types of analysis that can be applied to them. This knowledge will facilitate the reading and understanding of studies in the field, which should benefit every second/foreign language teacher, as well as provide teachers with the basis for conducting independent research in the field.
