Italian for Business
Introduction to the fundamentals of Italian language and culture in relation to business and professional practice. Students interested in working with Italian companies or US companies doing business with Italian partners will acquire strong linguistic and cross-cultural competence. Students will learn about the Italian economy, Government institutions, professional etiquette, work opportunities.
Outcomes
Students will learn the correct use of the Italian language for professional purposes in specific contexts and its appropriate use in writing and in oral expressions. Students will prepare a curriculum vitae in the European format and focus on individual interests in career opportunities in Italy. Students will be prepared for interviews in Italian.
