Technologie éducative et didactique des langues secondes / Educational Technology and Second Language Teaching

This course aims at providing future and practising L2 instructors with a pedagogical foundation for the theory and practice of technology integration in second language learning and teaching. As such, this course will enable students to develop their skills to effectively use a variety of technological tools. Course topics include trends and issues of instructional technology use, and instructional techniques, standards and strategies for integrating technology into a variety of language learning settings. Based on an experiential project development approach, the course will offer students opportunities to critically assess existing tools and to design course materials to enhance second language learning and teaching.
