Embodiment in Action: Experiential Anatomy and Yoga
Experiential anatomy involves learning about the body through the body. In this anatomy and kinesiology course, we will study the skeletal system, plus aspects of the neuro-muscular, endocrine, organ, and circulatory systems. Two yoga labs weekly will extend the coursework into movement. Required texts will include Job’s Body; The Anatomy Coloring Book; Yoga: Body, Mind, Spirit; and Bodystories. (This course is not open to students who have taken DANC 0376)
