Contemporary Arabic Media
This course is designed to help intermediate level students to comprehend media discourse in its written and spoken forms including advertisements, news bulletins, commentaries, reports, analysis, debates, talk shows, and documentaries. The course will also expose the students to the language of social media, which use the standard and colloquial varieties as well as borrowed words and phrases from other foreign languages.
