Positive Leadership
In this class we will use the lens of positive organizational psychology to examine leadership practices that promote employee engagement, motivation, and thriving. We will discuss the value of mindfulness and empathy as we consider psychological need support, job crafting, work-life balance, wellbeing, and effective conflict management in facilitating a vibrant, inclusive organizational culture. We will learn how the best leaders create, foster, and support positive work environments. Students will leave the class understanding the foundation of effective, transformational leadership.
