Drawing For Your Life
Drawing for Your Life
In this introductory class we will cover a variety of mark-making techniques and materials while we strengthen observational skills and develop a facility with contour, value, color, and perspective. Outside of class, a daily sketchbook practice will push us to investigate our lives through drawing: at once note-taking, journaling, and a potential pathway to personal growth and fulfillment. Class sessions will provide time for drawing from still life arrangements and figure models, informal one-on-one instruction, and guided weekly critiques. Each student is required to pay a fee of approximately $110 for materials.
