Second Language Acquisition
This course is an introduction to the field of Second Language Acquisition and its pedagogical applications in the Spanish-language classroom. The course will be structured around the topic of language learning theories and will focus on the psychological and linguistic challenges of learning and teaching Spanish. By the end of the course students will have a working knowledge of theory and research that explains how a second language is acquired. (1 unit)
