Advanced Hebrew II
Students enrolling in this sequence will have a proficiency level of at least “advance” according to the ACTFL proficiency guidelines. In this sequence, students will be able to use four skills with almost complete comprehension at normal speed, using a wide variety and selection of texts on an array of topics. The texts may include hypothetical concepts and utilize argumentation, and supported opinion. Students will focus on culture specific material, which includes sophisticated vocabulary, idioms, and metaphoric language along with critical writing skills. Students completing this sequence will emerge with a proficiency level of "advanced-advanced-high to superior" depending on motivation, effort, and diligence.
