Independence Spanish America
The course provides a comprehensive and critical approach to the revolutionary historical process that implied the collapse of the Spanish Monarchy and the rise of national states. With the lecture and discussion of renovated historiography and foundational documents, the course seeks to explain the advent of political modernity in the Hispanic world in the early decades of the 19th-century.
