Midd CORE 2012
MiddCORE’s intensely-interactive, mentor-driven, interdisciplinary program is designed to drive students out of their comfort zones and build confidence for the road ahead. Mentors create hands-on, rich learning experiences that help students discover themselves and their potential, empower them to pursue their passions, and prepare them for success in their personal and professional lives. Through daily, weekly and semester-long challenges, students acquire skills and experience in creativity, opportunity identification, risk-taking and entrepreneurship; participate in team-building, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making tasks at new and higher levels; and sharpen their persuasive presentation abilities in individual, collaborative and competitive settings. (See MiddCORE website for more details http://www.middlebury.edu/middlebury_google_custom_search/go/Middcore ) (Pass/Fail)
