Improvisational Acting
Improvisational Acting*
In this course, students will learn to create scenes and characters through improvisation. A series of intense exercises -- including complex theater games -- will stimulate students’ imagination such that their spontaneous play leads them to the development of dramatic and comedic fictions. Emphasis will be placed on getting each student to discover his or her own unique creative voice. The course will culminate with a public performance by the members of the class. This course counts as elective credit towards the Theatre major.
