Early Modern Prints & Drawings from the Middlebury College Museum of Art
In this course we will study and catalogue a selection of the early modern prints and drawings from the Middlebury College Museum of Art, which includes works on paper by artists such as Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Francisco Goya, among many others. In this hands-on course students will learn how to research and catalogue artworks by working directly with the objects in the collection. In addition, guest speakers from other institutions and collections will share their expertise during in-class discussions and workshops.
