Voices and Margins: Contemporary Iberoamerican Poetry Written by Women

The course aims at approaching the keys to the magnificent iberoamerican poetry of the XXth and XXIst Centuries from a gender perspective. We will focus in the analysis of texts according to a wide variety of strategies that different women authors (from Delmira Agustini to Alejandra Pizarnik, from Blanca Varela to VerĂ³nica Zondek) have used to revise and re-contextualize the concepts of Canon, Tradition, and Poetry.
