The class will do this by: reading chapters and articles about computer assisted assessment in preparation for discussion in class trying out some test delivery and data management programs using one or more programs to adapt an existing assessment (perhaps your own test from the Language Assessment class) for computer-based delivery and use revising and improving your computer-based assessments collaboratively evaluating some existing computer-based language tests and assessments, and analyzing and discussing features of test quality in the context of computer-based assessment, focusing on advantages and limitations to teachers, students, and administrative staff.
