Franco-American Relations

Franco-American Relations
In this course we will examine the complexity of Franco-American relations by focusing on recent as well as past issues of contention between the two partners. We will examine the impact of history, political culture, and national interest in defining clashing world visions. We will also reflect on the future of Franco-American relations based on the role of France in an enlarged and more closely integrated European Union. 3 hrs. lec./disc.
