Sustainability Management in Organizations

This course provides an introduction to the applied field of sustainability management in organizations. An array of issues relevant to sustainability management will be covered, including operational decision making to support specific sustainability topics (water. energy, materials, etc.) as well as behavior change and reporting. Additional topics include the intersection of sustainability, social justice and equity. The course will be conducted using lecture and case study methods. Active student participation is both encouraged and required. This workshop will provide students with an opportunity to delve into a potential career field, while also developing skills and knowledge that can be leveraged in any sustainability-related work environment.
