Discourse, Stylistics, Method: Seminar on Advanced Writing & Conversation
This is an advanced language course designed to broaden and expand graduate students’ proficiency in and knowledge of Russian; emphasis will be placed on developing advanced speaking and writing skills. Readings will include a variety of genres – prose, scholarly essays, analytical long-form journalism, television, and the news media. This course is highly recommended for first-summer graduate students and will be open to first-summer students only during online registration. Counts as a course in language and linguistics.
