Images of Paris in 20th C. Lit

Figures of Paris Through 20th Century Literary Mirrors

This course will evaluate the evanescent representations of Paris and its multiplications through the diversity of the literary glances of 20th century French writers. To analyze these, we will use close readings of significant poetry and short excerpts of significant other texts, one short play, and two short novels of this period.
