Seminar in Modern Architecture: Architecture after the Masters
An investigation of recent architectural trends beginning with the climactic work of Wright, Gropius, Mies, and Le Corbusier and following the developments and reactions which it inspired. The seminar will draw heavily on contemporary architectural theory and criticism in an attempt to achieve an historical overview of the period since World War II. Limited to 12 students. Those interested should consult with the instructor before registration (HARC 0220 or HARC 0230) 3 hrs. sem.
