This obligatory course is designed for first time graduate students who do not have a major in Italian and/or for students who have a low score on the placement exam. Selections from various authors and other sources will be analyzed and studied. It is designed to develop oral and written high proficiency at the advanced level, it will meet daily for two hours: one hour dedicated to the study of patters and structures and one hour to oral expression.
