This course aims to improve advanced students’ ability to write with a more refined style and in various styles and codes. Discussions will focus on selections from various authors, the language of politics, advertising, sports as well as on the relationships and differences between the written and the spoken languages. Special emphasis will be given to academic writing. (2 Units)
