The course will review the efforts undertaken to create a Nuclear Weapons Free Zone in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on the positions of the main players: Egypt and the Arab World, Israel and Iran. The course will also attempt to draw lessons from the different experiences and offer suggested policy options and solutions to facilitate the creation of a NWFZ in the Middle East.
