The Italian Language in Political Communication from Television to Internet
What language do Italian politicians use? Do they speak proper Italian or do they use unpolished populist speech? What is the relationship between the language of politics, television and social media? After a brief introduction of historical nature we will examine the fundamental aspects of the Italian language with particular focus on the vocabulary of political communication, analyzing the most significant changes that this discourse has undergone in the evolution of the mass media, from television to Internet.
