Through a consideration of epic and mythological texts, poetry, painting, sculpture, performance ar,t and contemporary media—including film, comics, and graphic novels—we will explore a wide diversity of questions about gender relations, beauty, divine love, devotion, desire, sacrifice, fate, duty, and good versus evil Not open to students who have taken FYSE 1399. 3 hrs. sem
